Senior technology and management executives from government and industry will gather during the 2008 International CES to share ideas with elected officials, candidates, and political experts at CES Government 2008. The conference focus this year is the November 2008 elections and their impace on government technology budgets, programs, and planning.

Focused discussions, substantive keynote and executive plenary sessions, and unique networking opportunities will give conference participants a chance to match the critical intesect of government management and technology applications with significant government challenges. THe conference will feature leaders from both political parties and will address:

  • Election forecasts and what they could mean for IT budgets and the application of information technologies to government priorities.
  • The presidential transition: effective strategies to ensure that the right person gets the right job.
  • How to plan for or protect programs: what industry can do - what government can do
  • State government election forecast and the outlook for substantive, budget-driven initiatives in identity management, law enforcement and homeland security, social services, and health care.
